In-Home Mini Session
I am now offering a new type of session to make intimate family portraits more affordable. I believe that all families should have the opportunity to have beautiful memories captured in the place they are most comfortable, at home.
These sessions are great for kids because they are more relaxed an in their own element. I will come to your home and spend about 30 minutes photographing your family playing, having fun, and snuggling.
An online gallery of images will be included with a print release.

When do I pay for my session?
A non-refundable retainer equal to 25% of the total session price is required at booking. The remaining balance must be paid by the day of session.
What should we wear to our session?
First, you must feel comfortable and confident in your clothing choices to have the ability to relax and show genuine emotion. When it comes to style, everyone is so different, but I always suggest to avoid large logos or graphics, as they can be distracting. Earth tones, layers, and timeless patterns always photograph well. If you have booked a family session, try wear colors that compliment each other, but avoid matching too much. Babies are precious and delicate and tend to photograph best in soft, simple gowns and solid colored one-piece outfits. Large bows on baby girls tend to be distracting from their sweet faces.
If you have a difficult time with styling, I am always happy to jump in and help.
What if my house is too messy to photograph?
Simply put, it's not. As a mother to 6, I know how overwhelming it is to try and have everything neat and organized. My house at any given time of day will always have toys, books, and random objects on the floor. Your home is lived in, and that is part of your story. We can always move stuff around during the session as needed. Don't stress.
What is in your camera bag?
This question tends to come from other photographers the most, but I love to talk about my gear. My current cameras include a Nikon D750, Nikon Z6, and GoPro Hero Black 7. My lenses include the 35mm 1.4 Simga ART, 14-24mm 2.8 Sigma ART, Nikkor 85mm 1.8, and the 15mm 2.8 Sigma Fisheye.
I shoot with my Nikon Z6 almost all of the time, unless I am swimming or at an amusement park, in which case I will have my Gopro around my neck.
When will I recieve my images after the session?
I will always send over a sneak peek within 24 hours of the session and deliver your full gallery within four weeks of the session date.
